Today’s trip aboard The Peregrine was nothing short of spectacular. Guests were treated to sightings of two humpback whales, surfacing gracefully and giving us incredible looks at their massive flukes. Watching these gentle giants in calm Pacific waters is always a breathtaking experience. As if that weren’t enough, we also encountered a huge pod of about 500 Long-Beaked Common Dolphins. The ocean seemed alive as dolphins stretched across the horizon, leaping, bow-riding, and racing alongside us. With so many in the pod, there was always something exciting to watch — from playful calves sticking close to their mothers to adults launching high out of the water. Sunny skies, smooth seas, and this abundance of marine life made for an unforgettable day at sea.
