Today was all about dolphins — and lots of them! Aboard The Peregrine, we encountered around 300 Long-Beaked Common Dolphins and another 100 Short-Beaked Common Dolphins, all spread across the sparkling Pacific waters. Both species put on a show, leaping high, surfing the bow, and racing through the wake. Guests were treated to plenty of close encounters, playful splashes, and even a few calves showing off alongside their mothers. With calm seas, sunny skies, and 400 dolphins in total, it was truly Dolphin Day in San Diego — a joyful reminder of how alive and vibrant our ocean is.
